Malcolm joined Rawcliffe & Co in 1976 and having qualified as a Chartered Accountant was admitted as a partner in 1983. He is now resident partner in our Kirkham office. Whilst this office is run on a paperless basis, as far as is possible without causing problems for clients without such facilities, Malcolm feels he has been able to retain the personal approach essential for peace of mind for clients.

Malcolm deals with all general accountancy and taxation matters and statutory audits.

In his spare time Malcolm enjoys cooking, eating out and spending time with his family, including his wife Janet, his four daughters and new baby grandson. He also loves to travel, and his favourite holiday experience is skiing.

David Upward ATT

David joined Rawcliffe & Co in 1974 and has been an instrumental part of our accounts team. He has utilised his IT skills in developing accountancy and practice assurance software for use within the organisation that have enabled us to save time and money for our clients. This has also assisted the business in a move towards a paperless environment, as Companies House and HM Revenue and Customs continually seek to receive more documentation online.
